Riser Mount, Tactical High Profile Picatinny

Our Take

A high riser — the kind that lifts a red dot or scope above iron sights that won’t fold out of the way. 145 x 20 mm, about 120 g, metal. High profile is the whole story here: more height means a worse cheek weld on some rifles and a chin weld on others, so think about your stock height before you buy. On an AR-style platform this is a common fix for sight-over-bore complaints; on a bolt gun it’s usually too tall. If you need to clear tall irons without changing them, this is the shape of the answer.
