Our Take
A glasses case is a glasses case — the useful part here is that it mounts on your pack, so your eyewear stops living at the bottom of a bag. At 80 g it is basically free to carry. Be realistic though: this is soft-sided nylon, so it guards against scratches and bumps, not against being sat on or crushed under a heavy load. For range bags and hiking packs it does the job it claims, and nothing more.
