We bolted this stabilizer onto a mid-length AR-15 and ran it through a 400-round carbine class that included barricade work, transition drills, and a lot of support-hand indexing. The thumb-screw clamp stayed tight — we checked it after every drill out of habit and it never needed retightening. The forward angle felt natural for a thumb-over-bore grip, and the texturing did not turn slick even after a humid morning turned into a sweaty afternoon. Two minor notes: the nylon material flexes slightly under extreme forward pressure compared to an aluminum hand stop, and the 20mm rail spec means it does not fit M-LOK slots directly without a Picatinny adapter section. For the weight and price, this is a solid option for anyone who wants better handguard indexing without drilling or permanent modification.
