Our Take
Ten grams of elastic. They do one job — keep your PTT where you can hit it instead of swinging on its cord — and they do it fine. The elastic will stretch out eventually; treat these as consumables. For radio users, that trade is worth it. If you don’t run a radio, you don’t need them — but they’re cheap enough that keeping spares in the kit bag costs nothing.
