Our Take

A side-mount rail — the kind of thing that bolts to a receiver’s side rail and gives you a Picatinny platform where the top rail is taken. 26 x 105 x 50 mm, about 150 g, metal. Side mounts live and die on two things: how tight they lock to the receiver rail, and how far the optic sits off the bore axis. Both are fit questions you can’t answer from a listing, so budget for some trial and error. It’s fine for a red dot or a backup sight; don’t expect a precision cantilever for a heavy long-range scope.
